In June I was in a few business trips. I was in
Baku (Azerbajan) and Tyumen at the very first time. After that I was in
Samara again. At the end of month I had one week vacation. I spend vacation
in Slovenia. Business trips had very tough schedule and I had no opportunity
to visit breweries. In Balkan I compensted it largerly. During vacation
I visited dozen breweries. Later I'll describe it in chapter "My
beer treks" surely. Now you can see what I had drunk there.

Lets start from Baku. In Azerbajan each beer bottle has excise mark which you can see on the left side. I never saw it before. | ||
Xirdalan, (0,5 L; 4,8), Baku-Castel, Azerbajan Baku beer market fully occupied with Baku-Castel. Impossible to buy something exept Xirdalan and other brands from Castel with rare exceptions. Xirdalan and Xirdalan Dark is serving in restaurants mainly. |

Xirdalan Qara, (0,5 L; 6,0), Baku-Castel, Azerbajan Xirdalan Dark. I found this sort most tasty and was drinking it mainly. Next two labels from bottles which I bought with gap in one day. I was very surprised when found alcohol content difference. |

Uc gonbul,(0,5 л), Khayai Company, Azerbajan Name of beer is easy to translate as "Three Fatties". I had this label before but I decided to present it in order to show full picture of beer in Baku. |

Attila Premium,(0,5 L; 3,8; 11%), Asfan Ltd., Azerbajan During my stay in Baku I found only two beers (this one and previous) brewed by another than Castel brewery. This beer has name of antique hero Attila. |

Zhigulevskoe, (0,5 L; 4,0; 11%), "Buket Chuvashii" Brewery, Russia In Samara I spend only one day. So I had only one evening for searching and tasting beer. In the market near the Hotel I found set of Chuvash beers. Most of labels were new. |

Falcon Light, (0,5 L; 4,0; 10%), "Moscow-Efes" Brewery, Russia Now I'm in Tyumen. In tyumen beer market similar to Moscow one. Nobody knows about local beer. So I was obliged to drink something new from Moscow. It was "Falcon" in glass bottle. Label from PET bottle you can see on the page "Near the Fireplace June 2004". |

Ural Master Classic, (1,5 L; 5,1; 12%), "Zolotoy Ural" Brewery, Russia Although I was too quick. When I rambled around the Hotel I found a few bottles of "Ural Master" as in glass as in PET bottles. Now is going lottery under the name "Master of Labour and Rest". The goal of lottery is to look for wrenches and nuts under caps. Wrenches is for glass bottles only and nuts for PET bottles. |

1984, (0,33 L; 5,1; 12,2%), Pivovarna Union, Slovenia Now about my holidays in Slovenia. "1864" is the newest sort dedicated to 140-th anniversary of Union Brewery foundation. |

Union Pils, (0,66 L; 4,5), Pivovarna Union, Slovenia Farther is presented some lables from Union Brewery which is new for me.This beer was brewered for Italy especially. The volume 0,66 L is according to Italian standards. |

Lasko Lahko, (0,5 L; 2,7), Pivovarna Lasko, Slovenia Recently Lashko Brewery issued new labels for some grades. Up to now labels were rectangular and new ones is oval. This change touched two grades "Lashko Light" and "Zlatorog". In shops I saw both types of labels old and new. |

Emonec, (2,0 L; 4,7; 12%), Pivovarna Emonec, Slovenia One more Restaurant-Brewery Emonec. I have to say that this label is not using now. Currently they use two-liter glass bottle with glass-printed label. I received this label in the brewery and as far as I tasted beer in Emonec you can see it now. |

KAPITOL, (2,0 L; 12,5%), Pivovarna "KAPITOL", Slovenia Brewery-restaurant Kapitol (near the resort Portoroz) uses self-adhesive label for two-liter glass bottles up to now. |

Panache del'ami Fritz, (0,25 L; 1,0), Brasserie de Saverne, Франция This is French beer. To be more precise it is mix of beer and lemonade. It was very hot on the beach. I had no real beer and I had drunk Panache. Not so bad to quench thirst. |

Staro Cesko, (0,5 L; 5,2), Daruvarska Pivovara, Croatia On the both ways to Slovenia and back I visited Zagreb (Croatia). In total I spend in Zagreb about two days and I had time to visit two local breweries. And of cause I was drinking beer there. Thirst beer is not from Zagreb but I found it in supermarket. |

Ozujsko Cool, (0,5 L; 0,5), Zagrebacka Pivovara, Croatia "Ozujsko" it means "March beer". "Ozujsko Coll" is alcohol free beer. Label is new one. Figure and letter in the grey circle means that Zagreb brewery was established 111 years ago. |

Ozujsko, (0,5 L; 5,2), Zagrebacka Pivovara, Croatia Croatian football team took part in Euro-2004. Zagreb Brewery issued a few labels dedicated to champioship. On the labels mentioned that Brewery is official sponsor of the team. |

Niksicko, (1,0 L; 5,2), Niksicko Pivo, Montenegro At the end I would like to present label from Nikshich Brewery (Montenegro). "Nikshichko" beer in PET bottle I found in Ljubljana when was going to Union Brewery. |
